PM's Repeated Visits To Tribal Districts Reflect Love For Tribesmen: Ajmal Wazir

Advisor to Chief Minister on merged tribal areas, Ajmal Wazir here Friday said the repeated visits of Prime Minister Imran Khan to tribal districts showed his deep commitment, love and affection for the people living there
Addressing a big public gathering at Kalaya, the headquarters of Orakzai tribal district, Ajmal Wazir said Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had special affection for the people of tribal districts and today's visit of the Prime Minister to Orakzai despite hectic official engagements, had again signified it.
He said Imran Khan was the first elected Prime Minister who visited Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Orakzai tribal districts within eight months after assuming power and announced mega development projects for tribal districts that sparked wide spread jubilation.
He said extension of ambitious Sehat Insaf Cards and mobile phone service to tribal districts was the long awaited demand of tribesmen that was fulfilled by the PTI government, thus winning the hearts and minds of hundreds of thousands of tribesmen.
He said the PTI government would bring the tribal districts at par with developed regions of Pakistan.
Wazir said each deserving family would get up to Rs 720,000 per year for free treatment at any top government and private hospital in the country.
The government took Khasadar and Levy Force issue as a challenge by successfully addressing it, adding Khasadar and Levy personnel would get the same benefits as enjoyed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa policemen.
He said extension of 3g and 4g services was long awaited demand of the people of tribal districts, which was successfully addressed by the government as per wishes of the tribesmen.
Wazir said the government would promote tourism in tribal districts and that potential would be fully tapped for the benefits of common man.
