PM's UAE Visit To Help Strengthen Pakistan's Economy: Yaqoob Shaikh

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2018 ) :PTI's Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Muhammad Yaqoob Shaikh Sunday said the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was very important as it would help strengthen the country's economy.
Talking to a news channel, he said the government was considering all the options to stabilize the economy, which was left in a shambles by the last regime.
The prime minister's UAE visit was important in the prospect of peace in the region as Pakistan desired to play the role of a mediator among the Gulf states, he added Yaqoob Shaikh said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was an excellent opportunity not only for Pakistan but also for the entire region as it would open new vistas of development in shape of enhanced trade and export activities among the neighbouring countries.
To a question, he said the government had nothing to do with the affairs of National Accountability Bureau, which was an independent institutions. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was in favour of across the board accountability, he added.
Responding to another question regarding the Public Accounts Committee's chairman, he said the issue would be resolved soon as discussions were underway with all the political parties.
