POL Prices Likely To Increase Upto Rs 16 Per Litre

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Feb, 2017 ) : Federal government is likely to hike prices of petroleum goods upto Rs 16.71 per litre . According to a news channel, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has suggested the federal government to increase petrol prices by Rs 1.91 per litre and has recommended a hike of Rs 2.03 per litre on diesel.
An increase of Rs 16.71 per lire has been recommended by the regulatory authority. OGRA has also suggested the federal government to increase light diesel's cost by Rs 12.53 per litre. The federal government will announce the final prices by tonight (Wednesday). On February 1, the government has announced to readjust prices of petroleum products by Rs 2.25 per litre.
