Police Arrest 14 For Possessing Liquor, Drugs; Over 5 Kg Charras, 15 Liquor Bottles Recovered

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2021 ) :Rawalpindi Police in their crackdown against drug peddlers and bootleggers rounded up 14 persons from different areas and recovered over five kg charras, 25 liters liquor and 15 bottles of liquor from their possession, said a police spokesman on Thursday.

He informed that Pirwadhai police held eight drug peddlers namely Ahsan, Qamar Zaman, Adnan Pervaiz, Syed Gohar, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Umair, Adnan Masih and Zubair Khan and recovered over 1900 grams charras and five liters liquor from their possession.

Gujar Khan police rounded up two, Mazhar Iqbal with 1600 grams charras and Afzal Mehmood with 20 liters liquor.

Taxila police recovered 1500 grams charras from Mazhar Iqbal while Sadiqabad police seized 210 grams charras and held Muhammad Hamza.

Westridge police netted Tamoor ul islam with 115 grams charras and Wah Cantt police arrested Waqar Khan on recovery of 15 bottles of liquor.

Separate cases have been registered against all the accused while further investigations are underway, he said and added that police would continue their raids against lawbreakers.
