Police Celebrate Pakistan Day In Hyderabad

The Hyderabad police organized a ceremony to celebrate the Pakistan Resolution Day at the police headquarters here on Friday.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2018 ) :The Hyderabad police organized a ceremony to celebrate the Pakistan Resolution Day at the police headquarters here on Friday.Talking to the media on the occasion DIG Hyderabad Javed Alam Odho said the day March 23 reminded all the countrymen about the struggle and sacrifices which the elders of that land offered to achieve freedom and homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent.
He said the army and the police were performing their duty to secure the country's borders and to maintain peace and law and order inside the country.The DIG said in comparison to the past Hyderabad had become a peaceful city and the citizens living and working in Hyderabad no longer felt insecure.
Odho said the police crackdown against the outlaws continued.At the ceremony, an exhibition of weapons used by the police force was organized while the personnel of Anti Terrorism Force and the police staged the march past.
The police band played the national anthem while the school children presented tableaus.Deputy Commission Hyderabad, SSP Hyderabad, officials of different government departments, notable citizens, representatives of the business community attended the ceremony.
