Police Compliant Cell Inaugurated In Hangu

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kohat Region Ijaz Khan Wednesday inaugurated Police Complaint Cell in district Hangu
On the this occasion, a smart contingent of police presented guard of honor while District Police Chief Pir Shahab Ali Shah briefed him about performance of police and regional law and order situation.
The event was attended by police officers, MPA Shah Faisal, Chairman Dispute Resolution Council (DRC), Malik Aqal, members of peace committee and elected representatives of local government.
DIG Ijaz Khan said that people could easily lodge their complaints and now the police system would facilitate them in getting justice at their doorsteps.
He stressed the need of mutual harmony and unity for national progress, prosperity and adopting approach of collective thinking.
He said that mutual cooperation between police and people was necessary for maintaining law and order situation and eradicate crimes from the society.
He said police should adopt public friendly attitude to restore confidence of people on police force.
On this occasion, area elders informed DIG about their various problems relating to police check posts, traffic problems, drugs and issues including shortage of staff and dilapidated condition of police stations.
The DIG gave assurance to solve their all problems on priority basis.
