Police Launched Combing Operations In Gujar Khan, Murree & Kalar Syedan; Six Arrested

Police on special directive of City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan on Thursday night launched special combing operations in Gujar Khan, Murree and Kalar Syedan and adjoining areas.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Police on special directive of City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan on Thursday night launched special combing operations in Gujar Khan, Murree and Kalar Syedan and adjoining areas.

Heavy police contingents, Ladies police and several senior police officers under the supervision of Superintendent Police (SP) Saddar Division, Ali Raza conducted combing operations in different areas.

According to a police spokesman, police recovered illegal weapons from the possession of five persons while a criminal record holder was also sent behind the bars during the operations.

He informed that the operations were conducted using bio-matric and special Android Devices.

The police searched a large number of houses and checked hundreds of persons while Gujar Khan police netted four persons namely Jamat, Muhammad Waqas, Sajid Dar and Akmal Baig and recovered four pistols and 15 rounds. A criminal record holder was also sent behind thebars.

Similarly, Murree police held a person for having dagger. The spokesman informed that the search operations to net criminals are being conducted.
