FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2018 ) ::A long term policy will be evolved in consultation with WASA and other departments concerned to overcome the problem of water pollution in Faisalabad.
This was stated by Mian Tanveer Ahmed Senior Vice President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) while addressing a joint meeting of FCCI Standing Committee on Industry Academia Collaboration & Entrepreneurship and Training, Development & Capacity building here on Tuesday.
He said that Faisalabad is a hub of textile which is a water intensive industry. However, as its maximum production is exported abroad hence, its manufacturers have to comply with many international agreements and protocols, particularly regarding pollution, environment, labor and gender discrimination.
