The district administration has removed hundreds of billboards, hoardings and pan-flexes which had been displayed by political parties in violation of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) code of conduct.
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2018 ) :The district administration has removed hundreds of billboards, hoardings and pan-flexes which had been displayed by political parties in violation of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) code of conduct.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muzaffar Sial ordered the monitoring teams to remove banners, billboards and posters larger than the prescribed size.
The ECP had issued a code of conduct on June 22 setting the size of portraits at 2x3, banners at 3x9 feet, posters 18x23 inches and handbills should not be larger than 6x9 inches.
The monitoring officer for NA-91 and PP-76, Malik Asif Iqbal, along with his team including SDO Irrigation Arif Qureshi and others visited their jurisdiction and removed such boards without any discrimination.
