Poly Clinic's Officer Sent On Judicial Remand

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2016 ) : A lower court of Islamabad on Tuesday sent administration officer of Poly Clinic Hospital Muhammad Arshad on judicial remand in a case of illegal appointments.
Senior Civil Judge Abdul Ghafor Kakar heard the case and rejected the FIA request seeking physical remand of the accused. Officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) informed the court that the accused had been allegedly involved in a process of 34 illegal appointments in the hospital.
Doctor Iftikhar Naro managed to prepare appointment letters through the accused and signed it, FIA apprised the court.
Dr. Iftikhar was already arrested in Oxygen purchasing case of the hospital, the official said.
The FIA requested the court to grant physical remand of the accused so that the officials of the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) were also allegedly involved in the case could be made part of the investigation. After hearing the arguments, the court rejected the FIA request and directed to send the accused on judicial remand.
