Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate WASIQ QAYYUM ABBASI has won PP-12 with 27351 votes.

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate WASIQ QAYYUM ABBASI has won PP-12 with 27351 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-12 Rawalpindi-XII constituency with 27351 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ijaz Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35836 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sardar Muhammad Naseem Khan who got 34034 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-12. In 2013 elections, there were 145956 voters registered in PP-12, out of which 81360 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.74 %. Detailed results can be found here
