Independent candidate Mehar Muhammad Aslam has won PP-127 with 27399 votes.

Jhang (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Mehar Muhammad Aslam has won PP-127 with 27399 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-127 Jhang-IV constituency with 27399 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUNAWAR AHMED GILL was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 51125 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate CH AMJAD ALI BAJWA who got 20962 votes.

At least 27 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-127. In 2013 elections, there were 175187 voters registered in PP-127, out of which 97901 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.88 %. Detailed results can be found here
