Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sher Akbar Khan has won PP-142 with 27061 votes.

Sheikhupura (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sher Akbar Khan has won PP-142 with 27061 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-142 Sheikhupura-VIII constituency with 27061 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad hamza shehbaz sharif was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 44130 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate waqar ahmad who got 20305 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-142. In 2013 elections, there were 135778 voters registered in PP-142, out of which 68995 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.81 %. Detailed results can be found here
