Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Shahbaz Ahmed has won PP-148 with 60608 votes.

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Shahbaz Ahmed has won PP-148 with 60608 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-148 Lahore-V constituency with 60608 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 54893 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Akhtar Rasool Chaudary who got 49784 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-148. In 2013 elections, there were 195026 voters registered in PP-148, out of which 109802 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.30 %. Detailed results can be found here
