Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Mirza Javed has won PP-172 with 23834 votes.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Mirza Javed has won PP-172 with 23834 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-172 Lahore-XXIX constituency with 23834 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Malik Zulqarnain Dogar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 29032 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Shahzad Khalid Khan who got 23210 votes.
At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-172. In 2013 elections, there were 149601 voters registered in PP-172, out of which 91036 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60.85 %. Detailed results can be found here
