According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-21 Chakwal-I constituency with 77425 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Tanveer Aslam Malik was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 75003 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Akhtar Hussain who got 35453 votes.

At least 6 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-21. In 2013 elections, there were 235685 voters registered in PP-21, out of which 144721 votes were polled out.
