Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Saleem Akhtar has won PP-212 with 26049 votes.

Multan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Saleem Akhtar has won PP-212 with 26049 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-212 Multan-II constituency with 26049 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Muhammad Akbar Hayat Harraj was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 38820 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Syed Mukhtar Hussain Shah who got 31286 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-212. In 2013 elections, there were 155360 voters registered in PP-212, out of which 99202 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 63.8 %. Detailed results can be found here
