Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Yousaf has won PP-229 with 40421 votes.

Vehari (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Yousaf has won PP-229 with 40421 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-229 Vehari-I constituency with 40421 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League candidate Ahmad Shah Khagga was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 44937 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sardar Wajid Ali Dogar who got 37721 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-229. In 2013 elections, there were 160397 voters registered in PP-229, out of which 104302 votes were polled out.
