Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Zahid Akram has won PP-242 with 41100 votes.

Bahawalnagar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Zahid Akram has won PP-242 with 41100 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-242 Bahawalnagar-VI constituency with 41100 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Javeed Akhtar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 28173 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa who got 27289 votes.

At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-242. In 2013 elections, there were 146044 voters registered in PP-242, out of which 71263 votes were polled out.
