Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Arshad has won PP-244 with 40110 votes.

Bahawalnagar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Arshad has won PP-244 with 40110 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-244 Bahawalnagar-VIII constituency with 40110 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Syed Abdul Aleem was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 22213 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Akhwand Humayun Raza Khan who got 21478 votes.

At least 25 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-244. In 2013 elections, there were 161312 voters registered in PP-244, out of which 76507 votes were polled out.
