Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Samiullah Chaudhary has won PP-246 with 46175 votes.

Bahawalpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Samiullah Chaudhary has won PP-246 with 46175 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-246 Bahawalpur-II constituency with 46175 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Mehmood Qadir Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 32105 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Major Rtd Malik Muhammad Rashid Kamran Malana who got 20889 votes.

At least 19 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-246. In 2013 elections, there were 144793 voters registered in PP-246, out of which 79731 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.05 %. Detailed results can be found here
