Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Afzal Gill has won PP-248 with 48829 votes.

Bahawalpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Afzal Gill has won PP-248 with 48829 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-248 Bahawalpur-IV constituency with 48829 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate sardar sher ali gorchani was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 48090 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate sardar hasnain bahadur who got 35310 votes.

At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-248. In 2013 elections, there were 180175 voters registered in PP-248, out of which 113992 votes were polled out.
