Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Amir Nawaz Khan has won PP-256 with 36367 votes.

Rahimyar Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Amir Nawaz Khan has won PP-256 with 36367 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-256 Rahimyar Khan-II constituency with 36367 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Imran was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 30061 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Muhammad Amir Karamat who got 27401 votes.

At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-256. In 2013 elections, there were 71895 voters registered in PP-256, out of which 99370 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64.06 %. Detailed results can be found here
