Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mian Shafi Muhammad has won PP-258 with 42465 votes.
Rahimyar Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mian Shafi Muhammad has won PP-258 with 42465 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-258 Rahimyar Khan-IV constituency with 42465 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Syed Haroon Ahmed Sultan Bokhari was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 46189 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Malik Abdul Aziz who got 24947 votes.
At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-258. In 2013 elections, there were 145042 voters registered in PP-258, out of which 85929 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 59.81 %. Detailed results can be found here
