Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Asif Majeed has won PP-262 with 48773 votes.

Rahimyar Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Asif Majeed has won PP-262 with 48773 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-262 Rahimyar Khan-VIII constituency with 48773 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Abdul Majeed Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35684 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Muhammad Athar Maqbool who got 27425 votes.

At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-262. In 2013 elections, there were 155838 voters registered in PP-262, out of which 103812 votes were polled out.
