Independent candidate Khurrum Sohail Khan Laghari has won PP-275 with 48729 votes.

Muzaffargarh (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Khurrum Sohail Khan Laghari has won PP-275 with 48729 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-275 Muzaffargarh-VIII constituency with 48729 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ch Khalid Mehmood Jaja was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 51792 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate AHSAN UL HAQ who got 43836 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-275. In 2013 elections, there were 151061 voters registered in PP-275, out of which 102100 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 68 %. Detailed results can be found here
