Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ijaz Ahmad Son of Maher Bahadar has won PP-283 with 46221 votes.

Layyah (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ijaz Ahmad Son of Maher Bahadar has won PP-283 with 46221 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-283 Layyah-IV constituency with 46221 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Mohajir Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate CH GHULAM MURTAZA was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 43337 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate ASHRAF UL islam who got 34989 votes.

At least 23 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-283. In 2013 elections, there were 170744 voters registered in PP-283, out of which 110692 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64.83 %. Detailed results can be found here
