Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Jamshed Altaf has won PP-5 with 57136 votes.
Attock (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Jamshed Altaf has won PP-5 with 57136 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-5 Attock-V constituency with 57136 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate ENGINEER QAMAR UL ISALM RAJA was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 65445 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate MALIK SOHAIL ASHRAF who got 27039 votes.
At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-5. In 2013 elections, there were 221451 voters registered in PP-5, out of which 132412 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 59.79 %. Detailed results can be found here
