Gujranwala (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Bilal Farooq Tarar has won PP-53 with 47298 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-53 Gujranwala-III constituency with 47298 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Iffat Maraj Awan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 44754 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Zafar Iqbal Khokhar who got 14996 votes.

At least 37 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-53. In 2013 elections, there were 165955 voters registered in PP-53, out of which 96642 votes were polled out.
