Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate CHAUDHARY WAQAR AHMAD CHEEMA has won PP-59 with 40046 votes.

Gujranwala (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate CHAUDHARY WAQAR AHMAD CHEEMA has won PP-59 with 40046 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-59 Gujranwala-IX constituency with 40046 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate ARIF MAHMOOD GILL was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 47116 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate RANA MUHAMMAD FAROOQ SAEED KHAN who got 12305 votes.

At least 33 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-59. In 2013 elections, there were 162151 voters registered in PP-59, out of which 90648 votes were polled out.
