Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Akhtar Ali Khan has won PP-61 with 44894 votes.

Gujranwala (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Akhtar Ali Khan has won PP-61 with 44894 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-61 Gujranwala-XI constituency with 44894 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Naeem Ullah Gill was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 25882 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate Ch Khalid Pervaiz Gill who got 23844 votes.

At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-61. In 2013 elections, there were 149427 voters registered in PP-61, out of which 88892 votes were polled out.
