According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-62 Gujranwala-XII constituency with 46913 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ch Raza Nasrullah Ghumman was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 53406 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate Ali Akhtar who got 23936 votes.

At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-62. In 2013 elections, there were 193850 voters registered in PP-62, out of which 116300 votes were polled out.
