Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Shoaib Adrees has won PP-98 with 55690 votes.

Faisalabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Shoaib Adrees has won PP-98 with 55690 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-98 Faisalabad-II constituency with 55690 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Chaudhary Muhammad Iqbal was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 55769 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Chaudhary Muhammad Younas Mehar who got 16659 votes.

At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-98. In 2013 elections, there were 183895 voters registered in PP-98, out of which 103936 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.52 %. Detailed results can be found here
