District Monitoring Officer (DMO) issued a notice to Daud Jatoi, a PPP candidate from NA-186 constituency in Alipur on holding public meeting without prior permission while his gunman Ghulam Yasin was named in FIR on displaying arms in violation of election code of conduct.
MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2018 ) :District Monitoring Officer (DMO) issued a notice to Daud Jatoi, a PPP candidate from NA-186 constituency in Alipur on holding public meeting without prior permission while his gunman Ghulam Yasin was named in FIR on displaying arms in violation of election code of conduct.
Deputy Commissioner/DMO Qaisar Saleem said on Wednesday that action was being taken wherever violations were being noticed by monitoring officers and added that election code of conduct would be enforced strictly.
Monitoring officers were removing excess size banners and panaflex from all Constituencies and no candidate was being allowed to take out rally or hold public meeting without prior permission.
Permission should be sought by candidates from assistant commissioners, DSPs concerned for rallies and public meetings.
