PPP Demands Resignation Of NAB Chief, Formation Of Parliamentary Committee

ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th March, 2019) Pakistan People's Party has demanded of the government to form a parliamentary committee included member of all political parties to investigate into Brig (retd) Asad Munir suicide.The PPP leaders also said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman should resign from his post after Bridg (retd) Asad Munir tragic incident.They said the ruling party has failed to fully implement the National Action Plan (NAP).
The government used China's shoulder to save Mehsood Azhar. The PPP leaders said return of UAE payments is failure of the government's policies. The PPP asked the government to brief the parliament why UAE retrieved the facility.These views were expressed by PPP senior leaders Farhatullah Babar and Nayyar Bukhari at a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday.
Farhatullah Babar said the government has failed to fully implement the National Action Plan (NAP).
He said that the government was claiming that it was taking action against terrorists to eliminate them from the country but in order to save Mehsood Azhar it used China's shoulder.Commenting on financial situation of the country, Babar said Pakistan's financial situation has turned complicated after UAE returned its 3.2 million which it had agreed to transfer to Pakistan in term of oil deferred payments.
The prime minister will have to be answerable that why UAE retrieved its agreement.The PPP leaders said the NAB chairman should resign from his post after suicide incident of Brig (retd) Asad Munir. He alleged NAB undue pressure forced Munir toward that extreme step.
