PPP Guide, Toolkit Launched

Public Private Partnership (PPP) Guide and Toolkit was launched here on Tuesday by Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Provincial Secretary Education Iqbal Hussain Durrani and Acting Deputy Mission Director , United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Oghale Odd
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2017 ) :Public Private Partnership (PPP) Guide and Toolkit was launched here on Tuesday by Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Provincial Secretary Education Iqbal Hussain Durrani and Acting Deputy Mission Director , United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Oghale Oddo.
This initiative is a joint initiative of Sindh Government, USAID and private management of schools to provide quality education from class one to higher level not only in the urban areas but in the rural areas of the province.
The Minister, on this occasion, said Pakistan Peoples Party in Sindh was committed to provide equitable access to boys and girls to quality education with cooperation of the private management of schools.
He praised USAID for extending financial support to various education projects in Sindh since long. He said 4500 schools were surveyed and they would be furnished with all necessary facilities and infrastructure before the end of June 2018.
He claimed that Sindh was not behind the other provinces in education spread and quality. Senior Director PPP Abdul Wahab Soomro spoke of the salient features of this innovative programme.
