Pragmatic Cooperation Between Pak, China To Bring Tangible Benefits: Speaker NA

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016) : Acting Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Friday said pragmatic cooperation between Pakistan and China could bring more tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
He appreciated the Chinese Leadership commitment for implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC) and said this project will prove as game changer and create massive economic activities in the region, bringing prosperity for the people of both the countries.
He was talking to a high level Chinese Delegation from Xinjian Province headed by Mr. Young Yan Min at Parliament House, today. "Pakistan values high its relations with China and desired to further solidify its deep rooted strategic partnership of cooperation for mutual benefit of both the countries", he said.
He said that Pakistan appreciate the strong support and selfless assistance from the Chinese Government and people for its economic and social development. He thanked the Chinese Government for organizing capacity building programme for the members of the Pakistan's Parliament and assistance to set up Solar Power Project at Parliament House.
Murtaza Javed said that Solar Power Project gifted by the Chinese Government for the Parliament of Pakistan is a symbolic of friendship between the two countries. He also appreciated plan for promoting cooperation and partnership between Xinjian Province and Gilgit-Baltistan in various fields,installation of solar lamps in Hazara Division and timely assistance to overcome the energy shortage in Pakistan. Mr.
Young Yan Min head of Chinese Delegation thanked the Acting Speaker and termed CPEC project is the win-win opportunities for the both the countries. He assured the Acting Speaker of Chinese commitment for its early completion.
While apprising the Acting Speaker regarding engagements of his delegation, he said that the delegation is visiting the Northern Area of Pakistan to observe various under progress projects of CPEC in Gilgit-Baltistan.
