Preparations for 43rd International Rehmat-ul- Lil-Aalamin (PBUH) Conference finalised

Preparations for holding the two-day 43rd International Rehmat-ul- Lil-Aalamin (PBUH) Conference, organized in connection with the celebrations of Eid Milad un Nabi have been finalized.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :Preparations for holding the two-day 43rd International Rehmat-ul- Lil-Aalamin (PBUH) Conference, organized in connection with the celebrations of Eid Milad un Nabi have been finalized.

The conference titled 'Finality of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and responsibilities of Muslims in light of teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)' would commence from Tuesday.

A ministry official told APP that the conference is being organized regularly every year by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, since 1976 to commemorate 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal in a befitting manner.

He said the main aim of organizing the conference is to highlight the soft image of islam, the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) and also reward the authors of the books and research papers written on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Over 2,500 people from all walks of life, including Parliamentarians, ambassadors, Ulema, scholars, students of religious seminaries, universities, deans of universities and representatives of chambers of commerce and industry will attend the moot.

Religious scholars from Egypt, Morroco, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have already confirmed their participation in the conference.

There would be four sessions of two-day conference. The First session will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, while the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will be highlighted in the second session of first day.

He said concluding day proceedings would be chaired by President Dr Arif Alvi. Prizes would be awarded to 21 authors for writing books on Seerat and Na'at and to 32 scholars for writing research papers on Seerat.

A total of 53 authors will be awarded prizes in nine categories of Seerat and Naat.

This year a total of 65 books and 81 Seerat research papers were received forparticipation in the competition.

He said the Religious Ministry has chalked out a series of events to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) during the entire year.
