Preparations For General Elections Finalised In Dir Lower

District Election Commissioner Dir Lower, Noor Sayyed Khan Khattak here on Wednesday said the preparations have been finalised in the district for upcoming general elections.
PESHAWAR, May 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2018 ) :District Election Commissioner Dir Lower, Noor Sayyed Khan Khattak here on Wednesday said the preparations have been finalised in the district for upcoming general elections.
The first phase to impart training to local teachers has been completed while appointments of District Returning and Returning Officers for the two national assembly and five provincial assembly seats have also been completed.
He further informed that District and Sessions Judge, Gohar has been appointed as District Returning Officer while for the constituency NA-6, Additional Sessions Judge Dir Lower, Liaqat Ali and for constituency NA-7, Senior Civil Judge, Dir Lower, Sher Aziz has been appointed as Returning Officer.
Likewise, he said for PK-13, Civil Judge, Muhammad Ilyas, for PK-14, Civil Judge Rasheed Ali, for PK-15, Civil Judge Abdul Qayum Khan, for PK-16, Civil Judge Saddique Ahmed and for PK-17, Civil Judge Abdul Haleem has been appointed as Returning Officer.
He said a meeting of the newly appointed returning officers will be held on May 10 to discuss arrangements for the upcoming general elections.
