Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Tuesday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 27 per kilogram, Onion Rs 26, Tomato Rs 30, Ginger Rs 100, Garlic (China) Rs 292, Garlic Local 330, Lemon Rs 57, Lady Finger Rs 88/60, Pumpkin Rs 48, Brinjal Rs 40, Peas Rs 44, Fresh Bean Rs 39, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 65/45, Green Chilli Rs 55, Cauliflower Rs 24/18, Cabbage Rs 35, Bitter Gourd Rs 74/58, Spinach Rs 18/13, Radish Rs 16, Turnip Rs 23,Yam Rs 74, Maroo Rs 27, Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 112 and Egg per dozen Rs 118.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 123/90, Apple Golden Rs 105/70, Apple White Rs 90/55, Apple China Rs 165/130, Banana Pak Rs 88/46, Grapes Toffee Rs 155/130, Guava 78/38, Pomegranate Rs 176/125, Musumi Rs 118/95, Shakri Rs 130/105, Kino Rs 110/75, Fruiter Rs 88/50, Pear China Rs 142/120.
The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
