Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, Jan 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Jan, 2017 ) : The overall prices of fruits and vegetables remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Thursday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 27 per kilogram, Onion Rs 27, Tomato Rs 29, Ginger Rs 98, Garlic (China) Rs 295, Garlic Local 335, Lemon Rs 56, Lady Finger Rs 100/70, Pumpkin Rs 50, Brinjal Rs 40, Peas Rs 44, Fresh Bean Rs 43, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 35, Cucumber Rs 42, Capsicum Rs 66/45, Green Chilli Rs 55, Cauliflower Rs 23/16, Cabbage Rs 33, Bitter Gourd Rs 75/58, Spinach Rs 20/15, Radish Rs 16, Turnip Rs 22,Yam Rs 72, Maroo Rs 25, Carrot Rs 23, Chicken Rs 97 and Egg per dozen Rs 121.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 122/90, Apple Golden Rs 99/60, Apple White Rs 92/50, Apple China Rs 165/130, Banana Pak Rs 85/45, Grapes Toffee Rs 160/130, Guava 80/40, Pomegranate Rs 180/125, Musumi Rs 128/100, Shakri Rs 135/115, Kino Rs 120/95, Fruiter Rs 88/50, Pear China Rs 145/120.
The local administration has asked the people to pay for vegetables and fruits as per rate list and in case of overcharging by the shopkeepers inform authorities at 051-4867762.
