Prime Minister Imran Khan has started honouring his promises by initiating the construction of five million houses in various cities of the country.
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2018 ) :Prime Minister Imran Khan has started honouring his promises by initiating the construction of five million houses in various cities of the country.
This was stated by Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib while talking to the media after visiting Hilal-e-Ahmar Hospital, Allama Iqbal Colony and D-type Colony here on Saturday.
He said that PM Imran Khan had promised to provide five million houses for the homeless people and pilot project of this programme had started in different cities, including Faisalabad, which was a unique gift for the people.
He said that 'Clean and Green' programme had been launched to retrieve state land from land grabbers and this land would be used for construction of hospitals and other welfare projects.
Responding to a question, Mian Farrukh Habib said that action would be taken against corrupt elements without any discrimination. The accountability process had started and it would meet its logical end, he added.
