Prime Minister Stresses For Inclusion Of Private Sector To Fully Exploit Efficiency Of Ministry Of Defence Production

Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday stressed the need for inclusion of private sector in various activities of the ministry of defence production so that its present efficiency could be fully exploited.
The prime minister stated this while chairing a meeting about Ministry of Defence Production at the PM Office here.
He said that the government would provide all possible support to meet requirements of ministry of defence production, and the Federal government would fully cooperate in construction of Gwader Shipyard.
The prime minister appreciated performance of ministry of defence production and its attached departments and added that besides meeting requirements of defence of the country its successes in commercial and social sectors were praiseworthy.
Secretary Defene Production, Lt Gen (Retd) Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry briefed the prime minister regarding performance of the ministry and duties and responsibilities of its attached departments.
Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Special Assistant to the prime minister Iftikhar Durrani, Secretary Defence Production Lt.Gen(retd) Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry and senior officials attended the meeting.
