Private - Public Partnership In Offing At Karachi's DMC-Central

District Municipal Corporation (DMC-Central) Karachi here on Thursday announced an extensive Green Campaign in collaboration with private sector.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :District Municipal Corporation (DMC-Central) Karachi here on Thursday announced an extensive Green Campaign in collaboration with private sector.
According to the details, Chairman, DMC - Central, Rehan Hashmi under a public-private partnership scheme will launch a tree plantation cum cleanliness campaign in the district.
The district central government already engaged in a plantation campaign through regular distribution of sapling among school and college students were said to have been approached by the business community as well as professional residing in the district to be part of the exercise.
The programme was said to gain extra-ordinary momentum during the fast approaching monsoon season with equal attention towards improved hygienic conditions so as to avert instances of health and municipal emergencies during the much awaited showers.
