Prize Distribution Ceremony Held At AQ Khan School

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2018 ) :The annual prize distribution ceremony of Abdul Qadir khan School was held at Ibrahim campus here on Thursday.

The Federal Minister for education and professional training, Muhammad Yusuf Shaikh was the chief guest of the occasion.

Addressing the function, the chief guest advised students to prepare themselves for taking on future challenges.

He said the responsibilities rested with the youth to safeguard and protect the motherland.

Speaking on the occasion, Director school Nasir Iqbal Chaudry said that, besides focusing on the achievements of academic excellence, the school management paid due attention to personality development of students by exposing them to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

The director said that the school had high qualified teaching staff including males and females.

The students on the occasion presented a variety programme comprising songs, short plays and skits.

The young and vibrant kids happy with confidence presented colorful tableaus also.

The position holder consists of Muhammad Zahid Mughal who secured first position with 1030 marks, Ahmad Ali secured 2nd position with 1009 marks and Muhammad Umar got 3rd position in higher secondary school certificate examination 2018.

While in SSC part-1, Muhammad Juzlan got first position with 488, Said Zain Agha 482 got 2nd position and Muhammad Fateh got 3rd position with 458 marks.

The Minister presented prizes to the students.
