Former governor and independent candidate from PK-82 and NA-32, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah has said that promotion of education and providing best facilities to the residents of Kohat will be among top priorities after winning upcoming elections.
KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2018 ) :Former governor and independent candidate from PK-82 and NA-32, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah has said that promotion of education and providing best facilities to the residents of Kohat will be among top priorities after winning upcoming elections.
While addressing an election rally here on Friday, he said " I have gifted many educational institutions including university to the people of Kohat as a governor and if people vote me I will fulfill my incomplete agenda of promoting education and providing best health facilities to them at their door steps".
He said that future of the youth could only be ensured by providing best educational facilities, besides tackling issue of poverty and other social issues.
Iftikhar said the region is blessed with talented youth, adding that we only need to provide them proper guideline and learning opportunities.
He said after the establishment of Kohat University now females student of the region could pursue higher studies easily which was earlier difficult due to economic factors and social taboo of not allowing girl to study in other cities.
Iftikhar vowed to provide state of the art health facilities in District Headquarter Hospital KDA and Children Hospital so that poor people would not need to go Peshawar for treatment.
He said there was a need of evolving effective monitoring mechanism to bring improvement in health and education sector.
Iftihar Hussain Shah is emerging as a strong candidate for Pk-82 and NA-32 after many notables and influential families have announced their support in his favour in the forthcoming elections.
