Promotion Of Technical Education Key To Reap Benefits Of CPEC: Senator

Senator Khuda Babar has stressed the need for promotion of technical education in the country to reap maximum benefits of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :Senator Khuda Babar has stressed the need for promotion of technical education in the country to reap maximum benefits of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He was talking to APP at Gwadar Expo and cultural festival, here on Tuesday. He said that there was dire need for skilled staff at Gwadar and other areas under the CPEC projects, which could not be met without paying attention to the issue.
He said that the past governments did not provide basic facilities at Gwadar but the incumbent government had resolved all such issues. "Now basic amenities like electricity, water etc.
have been provided there and Gwadar is rapidly progressing." To a question, he said that there is no problem of security at Gwadar.
"Gwadar is as safe as any other part of Pakistan, and there is no law and order problem there at all," he added. General Secretary Gwadar Builders and Developers Association Basit Mahmood said that the object of holding of such an event is to promote Gwadar and remove misconception about it in the minds of people.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life visited the expo and took keen interest in the happenings in Gwadar.
