Protesting Overseas Family Calls Off Sit-in On Minister's Assurance

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :A Pakistani overseas protesting family Tuesday called off sit-in after assurance of Minister of State for Overseas and Human Resource Development Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari for resolving their issue.
The State Minister vowed to take action on the issue as the family was holding a demonstration at D-Chowk since afternoon for release of their land from mafia.
A Spokesperson, Naveed Iqbal told APP that the Minister approached the demonstrating six-member of a family, who were seeking justice from authorities concerned and assured them for quick resolving their issue.
The family would also inform the Minister about their land dispute, he added.
It is pertinent to mention that the authorities concerned are bound to provide legal assistance to complainant within 25 days of a complain as per an amended law, "The Emigration Amendment Bill, 2013."
