The provincial government has launched modern vehicles inspection system to ensure safe journey and standard of fitness of commercial vehicles
SAHIWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2019 ) :The provincial government has launched modern vehicles inspection system to ensure safe journey and standard of fitness of commercial vehicles.
Provincial Minister for Transport Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan Kichi here on Monday said that government has started a safe journey and inspection system from July 1, 2019.
He inaugurated modern vehicle inspection and certificates system in Sahiwal which has been established by Swedish company on Arifwala road.
Commissioner Arif Anwar Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zaman Watto, Secretary RTA, Rana Mohsin and Center Incharge Mohammad Nadeem Saleem were participated in function.
He said that government would be established these system at district level and also check all commercial vehicles fitness to remove the faults of vehicles and the ratio of road accidents could be reduced.
He directed to all concerned authorities to launch the awareness campaign about modern vehicles inspection system and its benefits.
Sahiwal, Centre Incharge of modern vehicles inspection system, Nadeem Aslam said that 440 vehicles fitness facility available in the the station, and the government has been fixed reasonable rates for huge commercial vehicles fees rate as Rs. 1300 and small commercial vehicles Rs. 900.
