Provincial task force has recovered Rs 9 million from power defaulters and disconnected 311 direct connections in a fresh drive against power theft and illegal connections
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2019 ) :Provincial task force has recovered Rs 9 million from power defaulters and disconnected 311 direct connections in a fresh drive against power theft and illegal connections.
The task force was constituted to take action against power theft and defaulters in the province on the directives of Federal government.
During the drive, the task force conducted operations in various districts of the province including Bannu, Kohat, Swabi, Charsadda and Mardan.They seized equipments which was being used in power theft and registered cases against 29 persons for allegedly involved in power pilferage.
